The School of Applied Sciences at Cranfield University hosted the end of year exhibition to showcase the research of over 200 students from a range of Masters’ courses on 4 September 2013.
Industry, government agencies, charitable organisations and colleagues from across the University were invited to attend and participate in an afternoon of topical exhibitions and discussion.
Among the projects presented were three students who undertook their thesis research projects within the EPSRC Centre in Ultra Precision and one from the Cranfield University Precision Engineering Institute:
Oliviero Corinaldi – Assessment of the μfour Machine Based on the Processing of Complex Features – sponsored by Loxham Precision and Swatch Group
Bastien Moreau – Dimensional Deviations of CLIC Standard Discs During Machine Operations – sponsored by CERN
Cindy Potyrala – Analysis of Diamond turned Surfaces of CLIC Standard Discs – sponsored by CERN
Miguel Camilleri – Hybrid Lens Features by Micro Injection Moulding
