This Nanocentre diamond turning machine is enabled with hydrostatic linear and rotary axes bearings, laser interferometry for axes control (1.25nm resolution), refractometry and multi-axis CNC control. The machine is thermally controlled with spindle and axis fluids maintained to +/- 0.02°C. |
