You are invited to attend this one day review meeting which will present some of the achievements and remaining challenges of the EPSRC funded Ultra Precision and Structured Surfaces Integrated Knowledge Centre (UPS2 IKC).
UPS2 was one of the pilot EPSRC IKCs established in 2007 and was a collaborative activity across Cranfield University, University College London and the University of Cambridge. Having a significant presence at the OpTIC Technium in North Wales, much activity was focused amongst its cluster of optical fabrication companies.
The meeting will provide attendees an idea of what has been created by the UPS2 IKC from its impressive development facilities to the business development and spin-outs it has helped.
For those concerned in translating research into wealth the meeting will have good relevance.
