Watch it Made

Following on from the recent success of showcasing the Centre’s Watch it Made^TM educational programme at the Glasgow Science Centre last month, the Centre welcomed back Dr Steve Myers OBE, FREng of CERN, Switzerland this month.

Dr Myers was in the UK delivering a lecture at a local Kimberley STEM College. The Centre was invited to attend the lecture and the Watch it Made^TM experience was introduced to the audience. Project co-ordinators Florian Caroff and Armand Didier were privileged to be able to attend and present Dr Myers with his own customised wrist watch.

Dr Myers was invited to visit the Watch it Made^TM Manufacturing Learning Studio with Emeritus Professor Pat McKeown OBE, FREng and were both introduced to the Watch it Made^TM experience.

By the end of the visit Dr Myers and Prof McKeown officially became the first Watch it Made^TM customers!
